Manuscript, in a single hand, of a letter from W. R. Wells to E. Burton dated 1830 complimenting him on the performance of his "dear little boy," and offering his services in helping to advance Frederick Burton's career. The letter is accompanied by 21 printed playbills featuring Mr. Burton, Mrs. Burton, and Master Burton, and visas for entrance into France and Germany for the Burton family. The collection also includes a playbill for a performance by James Skea dated 1890.
